The Skyline College Children's Center provides a comprehensive child development program, open to children of students, faculty and staff of the San Mateo Community College District, Skyline, CSM and Canada colleges. Low-income students may be eligible for subsidy by the California Department of Education, and fees are based on a sliding scale. Children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 5 years are served.

The Children's Center is located in the portables between Loma Chica School and Pacific Heights, across the street from the main campus. The Center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the Fall and Spring semesters. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and based on the model that children learn through play.
