| MIKE FITZGERALD's
academic background includes an AA degree from Skyline College,
1974; BA degree from San Francisco State University, 1977 (Physical
Education); MA degree San Francisco State University, 1990 (Physical
Education). Mike has been a Skyline College Physical Education Instructor
since 1980. He was inducted into the Skyline College "Hall
of Fame" in 1987 for his tennis playing ability while a student
at Skyline College 1972-1974. He has also coached at the college
for the past 22 seasons. In 2000, his women's X-Country team won
the first championship for any Women's team in the history of Skyline
College. Mike has been involved in the Co-op program since 2001.
He enjoys working with people who live and work in the Skyline College
community.
JUDITH M. HELDBERG is an adjunct faculty member
at Skyline College and at staff at Ohlone College, Fremont, and
West Valley Community College, Saratoga. She teaches in the Early
Childhood Education Department. Judith has a Masters of Arts in
Education, Early Childhood Education
(ECE) emphasis from San Francisco State University. Her experience
includes classroom teaching pre-K, elementary, high school, college
and administrative positions in local ECE facilities.
CLAIRE MULLER-MOSELEY, Assistant Professor,
is coordinator of the Skyline College Family
and Consumer Sciences Department, and an educator for 28 years.
She teaches Foods and Nutrition, Early Childhood Education and Consumer
Advocacy classes at Skyline. She is the campus coordinator for the
federally funded Child Development Training Consortium, which assists
students with tuition reimbursement for Early Childhood Education
goals.
PETER PERINO is a part-time instructor in the
Skyline College Telecommunications & Network Information Technology
Program. He taught the TCOM 100 (Survey of the Telecommunications)
class from September 1990-August 2000. His private sector experience
includes over 25 years in the telecommunications industry where
he held various management positions in the Marketing/Sales and
Human Resource areas.
DIETRA PRATER SLACK is an adjunct faculty member
at Skyline College. She teaches paralegal courses in the Paralegal
and Business Programs. Dietra has a Bachelor of Arts in Administration
and Legal processes from Mills College and is completing her Masters
of Arts Degree in Education at Hayward State University. Her professional
background includes more than twenty years of private practice experience
in the legal industry.
KATHLEEN SEMENZA (BA & MA. San Francisco State
University) is a part-time evening Cooperative Education Instructor
with a BA in Education and an MS in College/Career Counseling. She
works full-time as an Office Technology Instructor for the Jefferson
U.H.S. Adult Division. In addition she occasionally does academic
counseling at Cařada College.
ALLEN WOLFE has been employed with the San
Mateo County Community College District for fourteen years. First
teaching radio and television arts classes, as well as Counseling
and Cooperative Education at College of San Mateo before transferring
to Counseling at Skyline College where he now is a Cooperative Education
coordinator. This follows a career as a radio announcer in the San
Francisco Bay area. Mr. Wolfe earned an AA in Radio /Television
from College of San Mateo, BA in Broadcasting Communication Arts
and an MA in Counseling from San Francisco State University.
LAVINIA ZANASSI has been an Instructor at Skyline
College for 14 years. She has held various faculty and administrative
positions in higher education during the past 20 years. Her special
areas of interest include social and behavioral sciences, education,
communications, and counseling. |
